those arab ,who contacted ICANN to see how much will it cost to launch a new arabic idn extension , are much desperate after realizing that they are going to pay ICANN millions of money for a new extension with no guaranteed success or at least to compete with idn.coms
they went for new extension rather than already active idn.coms in the first place to avoid paying much money for many premium IDNs taken by greedy owners.... now they will pay more to ICANN
however I disagree with Muhammad mustafa concerning new extension success and I believe if .arab(idn) is launched it will achieve marvelous success...
it is all a matter of money .. if it costs arab low fees to get it launched so they can offer new registrations for 7$ like .coms or even cheaper ... surely it will succeed....
the problem is not in the extension itself or the language but the problem with money wise calculations connected to it.
