Default What is up with verisign pushing IDN now?

I got this a few weeks ago rom Dynadot Accounts:

Quote:
You are receiving this email because you have an IDN (International Domain Name) in your account.

Due to the success of our COM/NET Idn sale last month, we have qualified for further rebates from the central registry. Thus we have lowered our prices for COM/NET Idns even more.

COM Idn: $6.50 ($4.99 bulk)
NET Idn: $6.50 ($4.25 bulk)

I am into super-bulk pricing, so I am now paying $4.75 for COM, and $3.99 for NET.

So what is up with Verisign pushing IDN.COM and IDN.NET registrations for super-reduced prices right now? Trying to squeeze the cow before they drop a bomb, or what?
