What is the name? You can pm me, i can give you my opinion.

In general, i will avoid gambling, any name with the city or country name in it, adult and "broad subjects" such as law, education, and any name related to the government or government property, such as parks, institutions, schools, etc.

It seems to be a clear generic, with no official institution related.

I think not to worry, as long as you didn't pay a bomb, i got a few .cn which i paid low to mid $xxx, and even $1xxx. If one or two got confiscated, i'll just treat as collateral damage.

This is the risk we must take when investing in .cn, though we can minimize it by not buying names that risks confiscation.

I paid $1300, and if I lost it I'd be pissed. But, I'd like to know I'm in the clear before spending a thousand hours developing it.

In my opinion, your name is ok, but i won't spend too much time developing it at this early stage.

Funny things do happen, like one of the chinese idners here registered software.cn, only to see it taken back, and today i checked, it's registered by someone else.

I would not discount the possibility of an insider job.

More like taken by a domainer who has a friend in cnnic and asked / bribed them to delete it for him.

If this is true then it is terrible. Did this IDNer fight for it then? What is the response of CNNIC?
