体制 - system?

I believe that 体制 means System/Systems in both Chinese and Japanese
is that correct? keep/drop?
any help is very appreciated

the system that you are referring to is for cultural systems, economic systems etc (文化体制，经济体制)

if you looking for computer systems or anything referring to that, 系统 would be the prime term.
