I see more and more idn discussions on local forums in both Russia and Israel. Some stories in Blogs, A lot more news stories, things are starting to move.
On the same note, companies like: http://www.domainthenet.com/hebrewsi...rew_domain.asp http://regtime.net/ Which are offering 'domains' which can't work without plug-in. domainthenet is saying they signed the agreements with Israel's ISP providers. I understand it can't got anywhere other then confuse and screw users but the question is, as stupid as it may be: Someone registered דוגמא.קום from domain the net I registered דוגמא.com which later should also resolve at דוגמא.קום What happens then if a user types-in דוגמא.קום into the browser on a computer with that plug-in? This is bordering illegal if not illegal. If you read the small print on they're terms and conditions it surely say that have no responsibility of when and if at all what they sell works and also saying it may be cancelled at any time.
