Internet overhaul wins approval is the headline..... At least there is a quote about TLD's being in the low xxx,xxx and auctions for registrars... Also, that ICANN needs to recoup 12 million from all the TLD expense so far... I actually think the BBC itself is likely to get a TLD of dot BBC.... and then put IDN's and ASCII at the second level for all the languages they broadcast in...... 中国.bbc That will give some Beijing bureaucrats a challenge in 2009 wouldn't it ???? interesting and challenging to the ASCII types first....of course.... I think Tata in India is likely to jump on getting one also.... probably the UN, and professional sports leagues as well...... just some thoughts ...........
