I will respect those that put forward argument that have some logic which they are prepared to substantiate when challenged.

What is the point of asserting that it will take 10 to 15 years for IDNs to take off. Touchring would not put his money if he for a moment thought that was the case. His other investment propositions show that he is trying constantly to turn a short-term buck.

It didn't take 10 year to implement domain parking the first time around. It sure as hell won't take ten years to clone everything, indeed most of it has already been done. The only thing it has taken ten years to get is browser support, and we are virtually on the brink of achieving that now. Where exactly is the argument.

As for the financial stuff, this is all about markets. All investments are about markets, but because our investments are about marketing it is even more the case. The premise our initial investment was to exploit emerging markets. What is the point of a discussion forum on IDN domains if you cannot discuss how the markets are converging on the developed markets.

Don't forget we have constantly been ridiculed by ASCII domainers because of the immature state of the markets. They must love it when IDNers themselves think it is somehow cool to treat these as taboo subjects. This is not pheripheral. It is not irrelevant. It is the crux of the whole IDN play unless of course you have opted to focus on Finland.

Finland isn't my only focus. Don't forget Turkey, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and Russia :-)

RD, you are warmly welcome here. But I won't allow the place to turn into IDN v2 or DNLocal v2. You musn't constantly stand on the political and financial soapbox; people here just aren't all that interested (even though I might be personally, a little bit, but that's what private discussions are for). You must respect all others as people, even if you don't agree with or respect their views. As others must do to you.
