Transfer from ename.cn?

Bought and paid for a name on the forum recently and wanted to transfer to dynadot - seller says there are problems doing that from the ename.cn side- I offered to pay the transfer fee.

What are those problems- anybody know ?

I don't think there are unsolvable problems. The seller needs to send his identification to ename.cn to get the transfer code. I have done that. The whole process takes time. Just be patient.
If it is a .cn IDN, the price at ename.cn is much cheaper than dynadot.

They take fax, if I remember correctly.

The price there is around $26.

Quite a saving- any problems for foreigners- apart from the language being the obvious.

I forgot to mention, to get that price, you need to be a gold member, which is actually very easy. Deposit 1000 RMB (Chinese Yuan) in your account will make you a gold member. You can pay renewal fees with that money later. You do need to have a way to pay them.
