Time for a new poll. Should we install chat or not?

IDNF did not have a chatroom since it was a small group, and Craig felt it would cut down significantly on posting.

chats do cut down on posting but they are fun and its a good way to get to know fellow idners. i think posters will still post. on the other hand there is always skype or some other messanger

Chat is a nice feature, kind of like the smilies, that would give the forum a little more character. Whether people come for the chat or for the forum, they still come to IDNC.

Alright, we have chat. You should see the Chat link on the navbar now.
You need to have minimum 10 posts to go into the chatroom. I will probably raise this number later as we all get higher post counts. See you in the chat. BTW, this chat does not connect to any remote server - it's fully contained in this site, so it's relatively safe and secure to discuss what you like. .
