While this is different configuration than what you are used to at the old site, it applies to my posts as well (although it didn't initially). I enabled it to also apply to administrator a few days ago after I noticed that it wasn't enabled.
If this is the biggest complaint you have with the new site, then I'd say we're doing pretty darned good.
Over time, you all may even become accustomed to proof-reading your posts before submitting them
Too many times, I have quoted a new post and then when I went to read the thread after I pressed submit, the post that I quoted had been changed without an edit notice, thus making me look like a forger.
What is the real benefit behind being able to edit your posts without an edit notice? None of us are perfect. Everybody, please chime in here!
