It makes me sick to my stomach to see all those domains I dropped. Some of the best were picked up by IDNers I know and others were picked up by domainers I have never heard of.... Oh, well.... Nothing I can do now.

I think i got one of your names, the one on publicoffer.com, thought you didn't want it.

If you drop that name by mistake, you can drop me a pm.

The ones you kept should quell the nausea, quite a portfolio.

You mean 公募.com? Yeah, that one, too.

Too many to count. Gonna be sick...

That's what I tell myself. I have some good stuff, but lost a lot from early 2006 regs.

Geez Burns that's a pity.

Personally I'm looking to cut down my portfolio. Domains that don't rack up the numbers frustrate the hell out of me. Yes, I lack patience.

Me too, i'm trying very hard as well to save on reg fees, but so far i've only managed to reduce 10% of the 2006 regs, and even that, many of the names i discard are good enough for people to pickup again. I've even seen a few snap orders - $60.

This seems to be the quandary with names that don't perform well - they are often fantastic generics that could one day be gold. They just don't have the IDN user awareness at the moment (for those particular keywords) to bring home the traffic.

In the end, I measure performance by profit, not by traffic.

I have an IDN.com that only gets about 4 visits a week. The CTR is normally 50%. The revenue per click has been a steady 4.60 EUR (7.25 USD) at Sedo.

I have another IDN.com that gets 30 visits a day. The CTR is normally 40%. The revenue per click has been a steady 0.02 EUR at Sedo.

I like the first one better

I generally don't drop keyword names, regardless of whether they perform or not, especially if they are commercial terms.

Unless it's one of those super kickass keywords, performance has more to do with indexing or similar ascii site.
