I don't mind that one either

But with languages in developing economies but with high user populations (like in SE Asia), I would prefer one with high traffic, high CTR and low PPC, because I would expect that PPC to increase as the advertising market matures. In mature markets (like in Western Europe), I would be content with one with low traffic, high CTR and high PPC, because PPC has probably already peaked anyway and the biggest increase would be expected in traffic. And as we all know, high traffic + high CTR + high PPC = retirement.

I feel your pain. There is very little that feels worse than finding you have accidentally dropped gems.

It was just a combination of things that happened all at once.

On the good side, IDNC was created and things are looking up!

For some reasons, this post is forever "today".

I configured polls to show as a "new post" for every vote.

What interests me with members here with a 1000+ portfolios is how self-sustaining they are? 1000 domains would cost $6000-7000 per year to maintain. How much of that are you able to self-sustain from parking revenue and sales?

Mine is self-sustaining via a combination of parking and minisites. If it weren't, I wouldn't keep registering more domains. My goal is to grow my portfolio as large as I possibly can, without incurring financial loss along the way.

Hell, I have one domain that pays for 15% of my portfolio of over 1000 domains.

I have well over a thousand but they do not make a profit. I try to use that fact to motivate me to resist registering new domains, and to be disciplined when renewal time comes.

Sympathies Burns, it's just damn hard to keep it all together without renewing way ahead. You think you've got everything organized and then shite happens and suddenly you can't keep up with your plan.

On the bright side, you're supporting newbies by creating opportunities. Very few newbies will actually end up with the winners, but there's not much you can do about that eh?

It will depend on your language mix.

Latins (with strong accents) do very well, as MJ has shown, especially with Sedo. Hell, i must find some time, still sitting on that Sedo email!

Russian and Japanese comes next.

Then comes Arabic.
