They do well if they are commercially important terms. Otherwise they belong to what Frank calls "The virtual boulevard of broken dreams". I don't buy domains that consist of words like "maybe", "probably", "sometime", etc. You do see a lot of people chasing after that crap, though.
Frank owns a lot of domains that are just popular sayings, slang terms, etc. If he didn't have a yahoo feed, he would probably find it very difficult to monetize most of that type of domains IMO. It's a catch 22 - don't buy them unless you have a feed, but can't get a feed unless you have enough domains and traffic. I did recently reg one of these, though, in my signature - ReppuSelkään.net. Don't bother taking the dot com, it's worthless and doesn't fit the name anyway. Roughly translated, it means "Put on your backpack" or "pack your bags and get out". It's could be good for hiking enthusiasts or for a site where you dump your girlfriend / boyfriend.
