I was just searching through some things, and I found a couple of domains available that I was surprised were still there, since they are geo domains of a fairly well-known, very tourist-oriented area:
YucatánPeninsula.com (xn--yucatnpeninsula-rjb.com) Wikipedia PenínsulaDeYucatán.com (xn--pennsuladeyucatn-tmb7r.com) Wikipedia I also checked the ASCII side and found that while the .com, .net, .info, .biz, .tv and .mobi were taken, I grabbed: YucatanPeninsula.org I like Geo domains on the .org extension, as I have seen a few official city, state, etc. sites built on .org. However, am I missing something? Are these not quite as good as I think they are? Is there a reason they were overlooked? Any insight is appreciated - I personally see a ton of potential and value with these names, especially to go with my portfolio of Cancún names. I also got VisitMéxico.com (xn--visitmxico-g7a.com), which could make a nice tourist site...

I'm spanish. The correct way to say it is "Península de Yucatán", the other 2 have good keywords but I like the .org the most, maybe you can drop the first one bur I think these are ok.

Thanks Ivan, I think I'll keep the first one, too, as that is the "official" way it should look in English. Although 99.9% of native English speakers probably wouldn't type it that way (with the accent), there is at least the ability for search based traffic with development and some SEO work.
Thanks again!
