Why? It didn't get approved the last time. Surprisingly enough, the people most opposed to it (the moral minority) are the ones who stand to gain the most agenda boosting from it. I really didn't understand their opposition, but oh well...

What would end up happening, in practice, is that just about every employer, school, and government would end up blocking the entire .xxx extension. Many ISPs would block it as well, as a way to perceive to keep bandwidth usage down.

ISPs would be asked by the police to start keeping logs and providing visit reports linked to identities, now that everything would be so .xxx convenient...
