Hello,
I'm aware most of the domain drops are done at certain times. Do you know if a catcher (snap to be more specific) decides to drop it again it's going to be deleted at the usual time? Ot it may be dropped anytime? I want that domain but not that much to pay 60$ for it .Thanks for your help ! Ivan |

Just kidding.. ![]() But i guess most people who know the drops well probably don't want to share that information for the same reason you do not want to answer the above. More competition.. |

I picked up a dropped name yesterday that had been auctioned on Snapnames the day before. I also wasn't willing to pay the $60 or whatever to get it from Snap. I can't say I knew when it would drop - I just randomly checked for it and found it to be available. Obviously Snapnames will drop most names within 5 days of launching them on auction, but I don't know if they have a set time for the drops. Also some names (the ones they feel hold promise) they may keep, while others might be picked up by other drop catchers services (so I've read).
Can anyone recommend a good automated script that periodically checks on the availability of names and registers them if available? This would be really good in these instances.

If you bid during the 4 or 5 day tasting period, you just pay $29 if i've not remembered wrongly. Of course if the name has a snap on it, it wouldn't enter the tasting period. This is what happens to most good names. So for a flipper to catch a drop, it has to go through 2 rejects by list miners. First, no one thinks it is worth $60 to snap. Second, during the 4 or 5 days tasting period, no one thinks it is worth $29. Last edited by touchring : 18th June 2008 at 08:19:13. |

But i think you still can buy it from the flipper on this forum, but 10 out of 10 times, it will cost you more than $29. |

question.. if it's not worth $60, is it worth $7? probably not IMO, unless you're a flipper
