Good read, but too bad there's no mention that IDNs already exist and resolve with Latin TLDs. I wonder if it's in the print version...

frustrating isn't it. I don't know why they wont mention cctlds like idn.de, idn.com in Latin languages already exist.

I think it's just ignorance. Reporters just want to get the hook, the "what's new," of the story. Even if ICANN officials mention it in an interview that there are currently sites using idn.com, it's not the story of the day.

Business Week, however, could move investors with a simple clause to that effect.
