Something smells fishy here...I can see closing for a week to retool the site and get the auction platform up to speed. I mean come on, it's a ONE name a day auction...how tough is that. Talking of shutting down possibly for MONTHS??

It may be few days, weeks, months, none of us really knows. All who submitted domains to Bido we will work with you to get it back to your accounts." Sarid said. Default clarification on the investment criteria and transaction styles

Congratulations to the two of you.

Those are fantastic names.

The Russian names particularly.

Even when IDN dot RU becomes a settled model, those dot com's should
be enormous brands by then. Marvelous....

My questions :
I searched for your post you mentioned. Could not find it.

Is the 100K criteria, a brokerage criteria for the 2 of you as brokers to the investment group ? Or are the 2 of you and the investment group now in or forming one entity ?

Can transactions be conducted where a domainer sells a name or a vertical of names to the group for a combination of cash and minority equity ?

Lastly, since IDN's do not generally have high PPC amounts (again...generally
excluding Finnish -grin- ), are you working with different national web developers for site building and ad/ affiliate sales ?

Great news again...

best regards.

Steve

Incredible portfolio - can only be good for the industry.

Don't see any country codes? Surely the likes of .cn, .jp are must haves- no doubt they are there but not yet on show?

Sahar is losing focus with so many projects. I wonder how he got the time to blog, run so many projects? He must be a superman.

idn.ru is no more, it's now idn.rf.

Steve,

here's my original 100k+ thread I made reference to. http://www.idnforums.com/forums/1553...ight-name.html

I'm afraid I am not able to answer your questions. Our Acquisition strategy and investment model is rather unique and I am sure played a key role in us being able to secure both seller and investment at high $ values.

I have a lot of confidence in us being able to rinse-and-repeat this model, so you'll understand my hesitation in spilling the beans.

But I'll repeat my message earlier - no one has been able to demonstrate a high $ sales formula in IDN like this before - what we have is unique and proven to work - so if you're reading this and considering cashing in for big bucks, then there's only one credible game in town - so feel free to PM me...

.. but please, no more PM's of poor to mediocre names. If it's isn't a drop or a name regged way back, then chances are we won't be calling you back.
