Seeing as though I was the one who suggested a Showcase for developed IDNs, I thought I had better put one of mine in here.

This one is Ακινητα.net ( Greek IDN meaning Property / Real Estate )

The site actually uses results from another one of my real estate sites, so I won't claim that this one has been 100% developed recently, but as I want to both 1) Provide clients with additional promotion for their properties and 2) Try and get more people in Greece aware of IDNs, I thought it would be worth putting this site together.

I have a few more Greek IDNs that I am currently developing, and will post them here soon when they are done.

Thanks for reply Yanni - much appreciated.

Though some of my Greeks do get type ins - the actual $ earned through clicks is piss poor. I really only park the domains so that there is something on them, rather than a "Page not Found" message.

I basically decided that this year ( or whats left of it ) I really have to start turning my Greek IDNs into small sites ( even 1 page with a few images, text and some Adsense ) will do much more than parking them.

From some of the ones I developed a few years ago, they seem to get a nice flow of constant visits, all of which are through Google. If I had simply left these parked, I think I could have counted the visits on one hand.

That's the ticket. I personally try to develop decent keywords that don't get any type-in traffic to try and squeeze some income out of them.
So far the results have been stellar.
The ones with traffic, I leave them parked for now since many of them are earning their keep.
But the goal is to develop all.

One suggestion to you: Try adding a "bookmark" button on your sites (especially idn) I think you'll see a steady increase of repeat visits.

The "bookmark" suggestion is an excellent one - especially for IDNs. I remember years ago when I first started in web design when I used the "Bookmark this Page" thing - after a while it become so 1999, so I stopped using them.

However, for IDNs ( especially Greek ones with / without the accents ) it will be most useful.
